Two nights ago I sleep walked into Isaac’s room. He was in bed working on homework and had papers sprawled out everywhere. Isaac says he could tell I was sleepwalking because I was in my glassy eyed zombie hunchback position. I clutched my stomach and said to him “I’m in pain and I’m scared.” Before he had a chance to say anything, I laid down on his papers and entered back into a deep and motionless sleep. A few minutes later, I sat up and announced to him that I was going back to my room (still sleep talking).
Before leaving, I turned around and said in a mousy voice “please come check on me, okay?”
An hour later I woke up to Isaac kissing me on the forehead and checking on me. What would I do without him?
